The tiny pretty villages of La Taha above the gorge of the Rio Trevelez. This walk gives a good impression of farming life which has changed little over centuries. - Thursday 6th October
A walk in the Eastern Alpujarra. A spectacular ridge walk above eroded sandstone country and visiting tiny villages clinging to rocky cliffs on the Sierra Nevada. - Friday 7th October
The sub-tropical region of Los Guajares, where Mediterranean pines cling to dramatic limestone cliffs above a valley filled with citrus trees and exotic fruit. - Saturday 8th October

Getting cooler. - October
Lucious persimmons and rosy pomegranites. Collect chestnuts as the leaves turn bronze. Autumn colours get better as the month passes. - November
Starts with a blaze of glorious colour. Red and golds against a deep blue sky with a smell of wood smoke and wild mushrooms. - December
Winter coming with log fires and red wine. Can still be warm and sunny in Spain, but maybe snow has come again to the mountain peaks.
