Winter Sunshine Walk in Spain
Tired of January grey? Depressed by February gloom? Why not come and walk in the sun with us! The Alpujarra is the perfect place for winter walking holidays.
Of course, we cannot guarantee the sun in winter, but it is the norm in Andalucia. Blue skies and spring flowers in Spain will lift the spirits and the massed almond blossom of the Contraviesa will take your breath away.
After a good walk you may sample your tapas in the sun while admiring the snow covered peaks of the Sierra Nevada and enjoying the hospitality of one of the pretty villages of the Alpujarra.
In the evening you will return to the house to enjoy a good meal and relax by the log fire. We have one night stay in Yegen, the village made famous by Gerald Brennan, of the Bloomsbury set, in his book 'South from Granada', which was later made into a film.
We run 1 week itineraries for winter walking holidays in the sun which include a free day when you may choose to visit the historic Alhambra in Granada, and all walks are led by an experienced guide.
Included: All accommodation, transport to trail heads, guide, 5 walks, all breakfasts, 5 dinners, 5 picnic lunches and plenty of wine, tea and coffee...... all for £640 per person per week until March 1st 2020. - How to Book
