- Day 1: The start of your Sierra Nevada Holiday and arrival at the house in Orgiva set in extensive gardens overlooking a cultivated river valley.
- Day 2: Starting from 3,000 ft above sea-level, we walk along narrow tracks past a high waterfall in the Soportujar forest. A great variety of conifers, evergreen oaks and broadleaf trees give us welcome shade but we also see the high peaks and the great sweep of the Guadalfeo valley.
- Day 3: Walking from the tiny and rarely visited village of Canar, we climb through deciduous woodland up to our secluded picnic place. Leaving the trees we get amazing views over the Alpujarra to the Mediterranean and sometimes even Morrocco.
- Day 4: A rest day with the opportunity to visit the fascinating city of Granada including the magnificent Palace of the Alhambra and the gardens of the Generalife, the most famous monument of Moorish Andalucia.
- Day 5: We make a circuit walking through the tiny white villages of La Taha, where the little flat-roofed houses, typical of the Alpujarra, have balconies filled with flowers. We spend the night in Trevelez, the highest village in Spain.
- Day :6 A woodland walk where masses of cystus flower beneath the oak trees. After emerging from the trees and getting views of the highest passes in the Sierra Nevada we drop down to the Gorge of the Rio Trevelez. Return to base.
- Day: 7 Your mountain day up the Cerro Redondo. Walking up a track through the pine forest we reach open moorland and by climbing to the ridge you will get fantastic views to the sea and the mountains across the Rio Lanjaron.
- Day 8: The end of your holiday, sadly time to pack and take your leave. ........................................................................How to Book
