Terms & Conditions

Your contract is with Montana Treks Ltd, registered in England & Wales no: 2694436 (hereinafter called ‘the Company or ‘we’).

1.INSURANCE. It is a condition of booking that you are adequately insured.  Your policy should cover cancellation, repatriation, sickness, personal accident, loss or damage to personal property, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your policy covers you for any activities that are part of the holiday. e.g. walking, riding etc. The new European Health Insurance Card has replaced the old E111.  It covers medical treatment but not ambulances or the costs of a hospital stay.  At least three weeks notice is required.  U.K. citizens can obtain it from main post offices or on-line from www.dh.gov.uk or call 0845-606-2030. Proof of insurance cover will be required in Spain.

2.HEALTH. You must declare any medical condition that could affect your ability to complete the itinerary.  You must take all reasonable precautions to avoid illness or injury and we accept no liability for medical conditions developing during or after your holiday or accidental falls however caused. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize and accept the risks involved in activity holidays.

3.CANCELLATIONS. If you cancel prior to 6 weeks before the date of commencement of your trip you will lose your deposit.  However, you may transfer it to a later trip in the same year for a charge of £50.00.  If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the commencement of your trip you will lose the entire payment but, if you have a good reason, this should be recoverable from your insurance.  No refund will be given if you leave the trip before the end for whatever reason. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.

4.EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL. We accept no liability for ‘Acts of God’, strikes, acts of war or terrorism, or any events beyond our control that result in disruption or cancellation of the holiday, but we will always endeavour  to provide alternative arrangements.

5.PAYMENT. Your reservation will not be confirmed until receipt of the deposit of £100.00 per person.  Failure to pay the balance of the trip price 6 weeks prior to the date of commencement of the trip will result in the cancellation of your booking with no refund of deposit. 

You will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these conditions when you sign the booking form.
